The Managing Director at Ireland’s Wholefoods Wholesale has moved to a new position within its parent company.

Cillian Molloy has commenced a new role with Wholefoods Wholesale’s parent company, Allegro, as Group Managing Director. Cillian held the position of Managing Director at Wholefoods for more than three years and offered his thanks for the individual support, encouragement and advice that was offered to him during this time.

Wholefoods Wholesale told Health Food Business that Cillian truly believes that the personal nature and focus on relationships of this business is its key strength and one that should ensure continued success for the independent retail sector.

Alan Martin, Wholefoods’ Finance Director, has taken on the role of General Manager of Wholefoods. Alan has been with the business for the past 11 years and whilst he has been somewhat in the background, he is well versed on all aspects of Wholefoods’ business and is looking forward to meeting with retailers in due course. There is, of course, a much wider team of great people within Wholefoods who will continue to offer any support required from the sales team, sales force and management team.

Cillian will continue to be involved in the business, albeit from a slightly removed position, and looks forward to seeing retailers at upcoming trade
events.
