TEA+ has relaunched its brand after announcing that Vitabiotics had injected some major investment.
The vitamin tea company has unveiled a new look after partnering with Vitabiotics, which has invested in redeveloping the growing TEA+ brand.
The partnership comes after extensive work to reformulate and reposition the range, with the intention to bring the vitamin and supplement world into the tea sector for the first time. The goal behind the range was to create blends that have a fantastic natural fruit flavour that deliver on taste, whilst also being enhanced with essential vitamins.
This rebrand comes following founder, James Dawson’s, appearance on BBC’s Dragons Den earlier this year. The Yorkshire-based company secured backing from Tej Lalvani, CEO of Vitabiotics, which led to a reformulation and new brand launch as part of the Vitabiotics portfolio.
“It’s a huge opportunity for us. We set out to evolve the healthy hot drink space by introducing the world of supplements to the category for the first time. This partnership gives us the ability to leverage the expertise and trusted brand name of Vitabiotics and will take the range to a whole new level,” Dawson explained.
Lalvani added: “Vitamin infused tea is something we have been considering for a long time at Vitabiotics, so when James presented the product range in the den, I was immediately interested in becoming a partner. So far, I’m really impressed with what the business has to offer and I’m very excited about TEA+ becoming a long-term partner of Vitabiotics.”
Dawson launched TEA+ with wife, Jade, in 2016 and quickly saw success, winning multiple start up business awards with their industry first range of vitamin infused teas.
