Well-known industry personality, Lisa Gawthorne, has qualified in her age group for an England running vest.
Lisa, Director of Bravura Foods and vegan spokesperson, has secured the vest for the first time, which follows a succession of other sporting successes that include GB age group representation for the last two years at both the European and World Sprint Duathlon Championships.
Lisa commented: “I am so happy with this one as it’s nice to achieve something in running alone, which was always my first love in sport. It’s also great to let people see that a vegan diet is fuelling these achievements.”
Lisa will take to the roads once again in May to run the Simply Health Birmingham 10k, representing England in her age group in the elite pen with the Scotland team.
