Target Publishing is delighted to have presented recognition to two retailers.

The company, which publishes Health Food Business, also publishes the leading in-store consumer magazines, Natural Lifestyle, distributed in the UK, and Naturally Good Health, designed for the Irish market.

Each year, we run the search for the Retailer of the Year for both magazines, which are sponsored by Terranova, and we have recently presented both with their accolades. The awards are designed to recognize those health food stores that go the extra mile.

The Natural Lifestyle Retailer of the Year was presented to Amaranth after customers voted in their droves for the store, in Cheshire, as its winner. The Terranova team presented the award to owner, Joanne Hill, and her team.

Commenting on the award, Liz Smith, Director at Bio-Nature, which distributes Terranova in the UK, said: “We were delighted to present Amaranth with their well-deserved Natural Lifestyle Retailer of the Year Award. We are delighted to work with Natural Lifestyle to give hard-working retailers the recognition they deserve – many congrats to Amaranth for all their efforts.”

The Naturally Good Health Retailer of the Year went to Fruit N Nut Health Store, in Portlaoise, close to Dublin.

The award was presented to owner, Bernadette Cass, during the recent trade gathering held by Health Stores Ireland in Shannon. Bernadette received her award from Health Food Business and Naturally Good Health Editor, Rachel Symonds, along with Alan Martin, MD at Wholefoods Wholesale, which distributes Naturally Good Health, and Kate Conway, Nutritional Advisor and Trainer at Terranova.
