Awards designed to recognise the hard-working staff of health stores in Ireland are back for 2024.
Launched last year, the Health Store Heroes Awards were a partnership between Health Food Business magazine and the leading retail association, Health Stores Ireland, and we are delighted to announce they are back for 2024. Employees across Ireland are nominated by their employees, with five awarded prizes across different categories.
HFB, along with our sister-title, Naturally Good Health, will be presenting the Health Store Heroes Awards at this year’s Health Stores Ireland Retailer & Trade Gathering in Shannon, County Clare, at the end of January. The event offers suppliers and retailers the opportunity to network and attend a number of panel discussions.
David Cann, Managing Director at Target Publishing, which publishes Health Food Business and Naturally Good Health, commented: “Health store staff are the backbone of health stores, and we are delighted to once again be partnering with Health Stores Ireland to offer them the recognition they so deserve. Health stores are at the heart of Target Publishing, and anything we can do to highlight their efforts we believe is important.”
Alan McGrath, National Organiser at Health Stores Ireland, added: “This is a great opportunity for store owners to recognise people under five specific category headings. We are lucky to be part of a lifestyle sector where people bring empathy, values and skills to a specialist retail setting and these need to be acknowledged and celebrated.”
