Independent health food stores have been praised for their efforts during the challenges around the Coronavirus pandemic.
In an open letter to retailers, the National Association of Health Stores (NAHS) acknowledged the “challenging and uncertain times” and said it understood how hard it must be for those of you currently trading.
Written by NAHS Chairman, Gary Trickett, the letter went on: “Our industry is a vital lifeline for many in your local communities and the goods and support that you supply makes a real difference to their ability to get by during this crisis. We are encouraged by the way you have responded to this crisis and we are confident that we will all continue to meet these challenges.
“We want to offer a huge thank you to everyone operating in our sector. We commend you for your commitment and support of your local communities and we want you all to know that NAHS are here to support you during this unprecedented crisis.”
