The industry unites at the Natural Health Trade Summit Manchester
The Natural Health Trade Summit on Sunday March 17 saw hundreds of health food retailers and brands come together at the UK’s only event dedicated to independent health food stores.
Organised in association with Health Stores UK, the theme of ‘Better Business’ underpins the event, with exhibitors showcasing their new products launches and support for independents. Educational sessions, held in a round table format, focused on key retailing topics, including ‘finding new customers’ and ‘maximising sales with non-traditional health store stock’.
Feedback from the event was extremely positive, with comments across social media including: “We really enjoyed it!”, “What a great day, an amazing show as always and such great people and passion”, “Great event, thank you to everyone that made it!”, “Well organized, well attended and an interesting show overall”.
Ruth Gilmour, Sales Director of the organiser, Target Publishing, says: “We launched the Natural Health Trade Summit in Manchester in 2015 to give independents an informal place to get together, to catch-up and to share ideas to grow the industry – we’re proud that almost 10 years on, the industry continues to embrace the event and we can’t wait to be back again next year.”
Len Glenville, Chairman of Healthstores UK, says: “The strong turnout out from retailers at this year’s Manchester Natural Health Trade Summit was very encouraging and positive to see, from a wider health food perspective. It shows that business owners and store staff really value this well-organised and focused event, which is always enjoyable and convenient way to do business, meet colleagues and check out the very latest products and industry trends. The show floor was really buzzing, and we were very pleased to be actively involved with the round-table programme and spreading the word about Health Stores UK! We are looking forward to the Bristol summit.”
The Natural Health Trade Summit returns to Bristol on Sunday 29 September 2024 and Manchester on Sunday 16 March 2025.
