Lisa Gawthorne has highlighted the importance of veganism during an appearance on BBC News.
Lisa, who is a vegan and Director of Bravura Foods, which distributes vegan brands including Free From Fellows, was selected to appear on Business Live on BBC World News. The programme focused on the rise of veganism, Bravura’s success and how Brexit is affecting businesses in the UK.
“It was fabulous to get such an amazing platform and opportunity to talk to a global audience of 99m viewers about what was once considered a niche area. There isn’t a day that goes by now where we don’t see some sort of headline linked to vegans or the many benefits attained by following a vegan or plant-based diet and it’s refreshing to know that global news programmes have this high on their agenda too,” she commented.
